Novtek Base Coat plaster is a ready to used innovative base plastering mortar formulated to bind plaster where thicker application is required. It contains special additives to improve bond strength, compressive strength, and anti-sagging properties. It is use to bind finishing plaster to level off surfaces of beams, columns and walls. It is suitable for both internal and external applications

SURFACE PREPARATION
Remove all dust, oil or traces of foreign materials. Dampen the dry concrete or plastered surface before application of Novtek Basecoat Plaster
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS
Add 5-6 liters of water to 25 kg of Novtek Basecoat Plaster. Mix thoroughly for several minutes until desired homogenous paste is achieved. Let stand for about 15 minutes and then mix again. Novtek Basecoat Plaster paste will remain usable for approximately 3-4 hours after mixing.
APPLICATION
•Apply Novtek Basecoat Plaster using wooden trowel or steel trowel
•Smoothly apply the Novtek Basecoat Plaster paste over the surface. Leveled off to a grooved surface with a square trowel
•Let dry for about 30 minutes and then lightly trowel the surface again.
•If there is a need to increase the thickness of the Novtek Basecoat Plaster apply the second coat before the first coat is about to set.
